With AI, robots can work better in unexpected situations, computers make more realistic decisions.
Risks
Depending on AI may result in various bad results when humans may hurt the robot or robot might hurt a human.
AI, when perfected has the potential to replace many human jobs.

Application for Solving World Hunger
Agricultural expert system: - can be used by farmers to get advice on how to improve yields, deal with pasts/diseases etc.
Could develop it as a mobile/smart phone app accessible to farmers at any time/place.
Could link to it real-time services (eg weather forecasts or market conditions).
AI systems may devise fairer, more efficient ways of distributing food.
