Telepresence is a set of technologies which enable a person to feel like they were present somewhere else, or to seem like they were to someone else. They can even have an effect somewhere else by remote control robotics.

It is good to communicate with friends and family when the person is away This is a better way to communicate, as you don’t need to physically attend a meeting

Telepresence can be used by farmers in the rich countries to be present during the important farming processes to lead and educate their less educated colleagues.
Experienced farmers can "show" inexpireanced farmers what to do while seeming to be at a different farm. They can "see" what is wrong for themselves and give advice by talking with inexperienced farmers.
